Tower Hamlets is one of the most deprived London boroughs with the third highest population density in London. We have an estimated 54,904 children and young people aged 0-18, many living in overcrowded conditions, with little or no access to gardens or appropriate outdoor space.
A Youth Service established aimed directly at young people. This site provides young people in Tower Hamlets with a starting point to get involved or simply gain up-to-date information on a range of topics including health, money, sport, entertainment and tips on how to get a job.
Tower Hamlets Children's Fund supports services that identify and help vulnerable children and young people to prevent and reverse the effects of poverty and exclusion and realise their potential.
The Community Plan said leaflets explaining how to find a job were also distributed in the area and local youngsters were commissioned to undertake work aimed at encouraging them to become involved in business enterprise.
Other sources of children's charities and funding for disabled children is Action 4 Kids which is a special needs charity and donations would be more than welcome.
